MiraNor research team works in close cooperation with the Makivik Corporation, an organization which works for the rights and interests of Inuit living in Nunavik.
MiraNor team also collaborates with Quebec’s Ministry of Forests, Wildlife, and Parks.
MiraNor is a member of the Center for Northern Studies.
MiraNor works in connection with the Kativik Regional Government (KRG) which was created in 1978 pursuant to the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement to deliver public services to Nunavimmiut.
A partnership has been developed between Kanatamat Tshitipenitamunu Primary and Secondary School and MiraNor with the aim of raising students’ awareness of scientific research.
